On 26 August, the UNFPA Executive Board approved all country programmes in silence, by "consensus," without a single vote, exactly as we warned.
But this is far from over. It moves closer to home. What these plans actually become, what is taught, what is funded, what reaches a classroom, still depends on our own governments, and our governments can still be pressured.
That pressure works, and it is ours to apply. The UN can write plans; it cannot teach our children without our governments' consent. We will be watching them, and we will keep saying what we have said from the start: our children are not territory to be colonised.
